Women for Election is a not-for-profit organisation and we are funded through a mix of private donations, government funding, philanthropic grants, and a small amount of income generated through our training programmes.

Help us to train #More Women

Long-term, sustained funding is essential for Women for Election to deliver on our commitment to political transformation and successfully inspire and equip women to consider politics as a career option.

    Donate

You can support the Domestic Violence Response (Galway) with a once off donation or by setting up a monthly donation.

Your valued contribution means that we can continue to support women affected by domestic abuse and provide educational programmes to raise awareness of domestic abuse.

    Thank you.

    Join the Countess Markievicz Circle

In 2013, we established our Countess Markievicz Circle. Members of the Countess Markievicz Circle recognise that to deliver Women for Election’s core mission – to get more women elected – we must have regular, reliable core funding to support the day-to-day running of the organisation.

This core group of women and men are committed to supporting Women for Election by:

    • Making a minimum gift of €1,500 per year, renewed over three years
    • Opening their networks to Women for Election to help us grow the movement
