A brave and amazing client of DVR has kindly shared with us her appearance on the Podcast ‘Narcissist Apocalypse’.

Below is a description of the episode. You can  LISTEN HERE

*** CONTENT WARNING – This episode Discusses physical abuse and sexual coercion. ***

Saoirse was swept off her feet by her future husband. They shared the same likes and dreams for the future. Saoirse thought she met her soulmate. However, as soon as their first child was born, Saoirse’s husband began to employ coercive control tactics. He isolated her from her family, financially abused her, and manipulated Saoirse to believe that everything wrong in the relationship was her fault.

As Saoirse recounts her experience of escaping her abusive relationship and navigating life in the aftermath, her resilience is nothing short of inspiring. Hear about her fight for freedom, her journey of self-discovery, and her struggle to protect her children from the toxic influence of their father. Saoirse’s story is a testament to the power of courage, determination, and the human spirit in overcoming abuse. Listen in as she shares words of wisdom for others facing similar situations and offers resources for support. Her story is a beacon of hope, illuminating the path toward healing and empowerment for all survivors of domestic violence.
