CRDAWRN 16 Days of Action Campaign

DVR was proud to attend the CRDAWRN National Conference held at the Harbour Hotel, Galway on November 18th.

“Events like today are absolutely fantastic because that whole community response, Network response, is really crucial if we are going to do better to support those who are subjected to abuse; but also makes visible the fact that there are perpetrators in our community and we need to have interventions that cut across all of society; everything from our legal system, employment environments and right up to social work, all areas. So this is really walking the talk in terms of what we need to do!” Sarah Benson, CEO Womens’ Aid. 18.11.2022. Community Response to Domestic Abuse Western Regional Network’s National Conference

Members of the Panel; Catherine Connolly TD., Tessa Collins Pavee Point, Lynn Cahill TCD, Barbara Condon Ruhama, Mary McDermott Safe Ireland, Sarah Benson Women’s Aid, Anna Heagney ODVSS Ethnic Minority Worker and Adrian Kinsella An Garda Síochána.
