DVR would like to thank Leanne from Yoga with Leanne who volunteered her time to facilitate a Yoga & wellness session with DVR to mark World Mental Health Day. We would also like to thank the HSE in contributing to our goody bags.
DVR was delighted to give a talk at the ‘Who’s She?’ Galway Integration Event on Saturday 8th October.
DVR’s Suzanne gave a talk on Gender Based Violence. It was a full day workshop targeting Women from Marginalized Backgrounds.

POSITION: COORDINATOR

SUMMARY OF THE POST
We are looking to employ a highly motivated, highly skilled and committed individual to manage and lead the DVR team in delivering excellent services to survivors of domestic abuse, who reside in Galway City and County. In addition the post-holder will:
Continue the development and implementation of the systems and infrastructure required to ensure the effective management and operation of DVR, in accordance with the values and strategic direction of the organisation.
Work to ensure the effective management and operation of DVR services in accordance with the principles of good governance.
